Question by : HELP: Things aren’t able to be displayed on my computer?
Mkay so like I have a computer where you can have multiple accounts. On my moms account I can play Zuma Blitz on Facebook & my tymblr pictures show up on my profile. but when I log onto my account, they won’t work? Like when i try to play ZB, where the actual game screen is it’s just a white black square with a little square in the upper left hand corner & it does the same thing on mu Tumblr. It’s the same computer, so I don’t know what’s wrong & it’s really starting to get on my nerves. Can someone please help me find a solution to this problem?

You’ve probably picked up a bug that only effects your account. Something you’ve browsed ect.

Check you flash and JavaScript plugins maybe something’s been disabled, try clearing browser history – all of it.

Or -
Make a new windows user account, try the new one, then update it bit by bit and see if anything causes the bug again.

If alls good with the new account then delete the old buggy account.

Are you using internet explorer?

If so try another browser , firefox, opera, chrome

It looks similar to a Internet explorer problem – download one of these and see if it works, I expect it will

I know its the same browser and the same computer, but I would still *start* by trying a different browser

When ever my mom plays Zuma Blitz, or I play NASCAR Racing 2003 Season, at random times, a blue screen keeps popping up saying something about the “crash dump” and it goes 0 to 100%.

The technical information says
*** Stop: 0×00000124 ( … )

We’ve had a guy fix it, but it happens after a a few months, and this time, he couldn’t fix it without taking apart the tower.

I cannot have that screen pop up anymore tonight, is there a temporary fix that could prevent this?

BTW — its popped up twice already this morning.

your computer must be a dinosaur, if it is crashing over those two games.
if you are asking to much of the computer it will always do that.

First thing that comes to mind is that those programs are not compatible with your OS/system. Try checking for cards or hardwares plugged in your system and remove them.

Format and Reinstall Microsoft Windows; and install a good antivirus software, such as Free Avast, or Kaspersky Pure. [Do not install any third party software, and not open any suspicious files, during the evaluation period of at least 3 days.]

=> If you are shutting down your computer properly, and computer is not getting problems like power failure, and therefore, but the Disk Checkup runs again, remove the hard disk, and give it to a local technician for checking the errors and evaluate on his/ her computer, or on your friend’s computer.

=> If you are getting the BSOD again, try cleaning your RAM(s) using a soft cloth.
If problem still persists then certainly you have to modify registry portion of operating system. If you are not an advanced user of computer then manual modification would be difficult for you.so download a good registry cleaner like RegInOut.

I run Firefox 3.6.13 on Vista. And even as I type, it falls behind to catch up only a second after every once in a while.

This is most frustrating when playing Bejeweled Blitz and Zuma Blitz on Facebook becuase is freezes the screen during gameplay.

When I disable plugin-container.exe on the task manager it blanks out the game screen and says I’m not running Adobe Flash. The when I refresh the page, the plugin comes back on.

Another thing that puzzles me is the amount of RAM it uses.

The Mozilla techs better get it together because this is clearly a drawback.

Firefox will not run with out the plugin container lol.
I have used ff 3.6 and i never really had that big of problems with it (i use ff4 beta 12 now, its quite an improvement).
but i think it may be your computer and not the browser that i making it lag.

Try installing and running CCleaner ( http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/download/standard ). run both the cleaner and registry cleaner(back up the registry) a few times. Also try going to tools > startup and disable(not delete) a few things from starting up automatically you know you dont need to.

Then try defraging your computer. There are a number of free defrags available(the built in vista one sucks). i personally use auslogic defrag ( http://www.auslogics.com/en/software/disk-defrag/download/ ).

After running both of them and it still seems slow try using your AV to do a scan, i would also recommend Malwarebytes ( http://download.cnet.com/Malwarebytes-Anti-Malware/3000-8022_4-10804572.html?tag=mncol;1 ) and run a scan with that after your AV.

If after all that it is still slow i would suggest an upgrade of your computers ram and/or maybe a better cpu. i would also recommend cleaning the dust out of your computer. it could be lagging from overheating.
